Dr. David Fillmore serves as the Chief of the Interventional Radiology section of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Dr. Fillmore also serves as a Staff Radiologist for the Portland Endovascular / Interventional Radiology Clinic (PERC).
David's expertise is in vertebroplasty, venous and arterial thrombolysis and stenting, TIPS, chemoembolization, and CT- and ultrasound-guided percutaneous biopsies and drainage procedures.
Dr. Fillmore is a Harvard (MGH) trained Interventional Radiologist who moved to the Northwest in 2001 after 5 years in private practice in Tulsa, OK. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as Assistant Professor of Radiology in the Section of Interventional Radiology at the University of Utah. He has published 10 peer-reviewed papers and two book chapters on a variety of topics including TIPS, hepatic abscess treatment, and venous thrombolysis.
David is a life long vegetarian and runner. He also enjoys skiing and sampling Northwest wines. He treasures spending time with his family when not at work. He is still exploring all that Oregon and the Northwest have to offer.
Dr. Weiss serves as the Medical Director of the Portland Endovascular/ Interventional Radiology Clinic (PERC).
Dr. Weiss also serves and as a Staff Radiologist in the Interventional Radiology section of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Dr. Weiss is a Harvard-trained Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. He is one of the youngest physicians to ever have become a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and has been recognized with their distinguished reviewer award. Dr. Weiss has served on many national committees for both the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Radiology. He is the author of a book, two book chapters, video, and numerous journal articles. He has a uniquely innovative approach to minimally invasive, radiologically-guided procedures and has brought many new procedures to the northwest. He performs uterine fibroid embolization, laser therapy for varicose veins, CT-guided radio frequency ablation, and chemoembolization for cancer therapy, vertebroplasty, thrombolysis for stroke, endovascular repair of aneurysms as well as arterial and venous stenting for vascular disease.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Weiss is very involved with his family. His hobbies include international travel and snow boarding. Recent travel includes:Cambodia (2002), Burma/Myanmar (2002), Thailand (2002), Chile (2000), Switzerland (1999), Costa Rica (1999), Columbia (1999), Panama (1999), Morocco (1999), Amazon (1998), Andes (1998) and Galapagos (1998).
Shelby Schleis serves as the Clinical Nurse Manager for the Portland Endovascular / Interventional Radiology Clinic (PERC).
Shelby received her Nursing Degree from Iowa Western in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She is licensed as a registered nurse in California, Oregon, and Washington. Shelby’s clinical experience includes many years as an emergency room charge nurse, cardiovascular lab nurse, as well as a position as Director of Nursing for the Pasadena Ambulatory Surgery Center in Pasadena California. Before coming to Portland Endovascular, Shelby most recently worked at Southwest Washington Medical Center in the cardiovascular lab, and maintains a per diem status there.
In addition to her nursing career, Shelby, her husband Richard and their three children, Steven 16, Nick 12, and Hannah Rose 10, spend there free time being involved in school sports including wrestling, basketball, softball, and baseball. They also spend time camping along the coast in their toy hauler, and riding off road vehicles.
Susan Smith serves as a nurse at the Portland Endovascular/ Interventional Radiology Center which is associated with the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Ann Ciaverella serves as a nurse at the Portland Endovascular/ Interventional Radiology Center which is associated with the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Trish Potter serves as the Director of Radiology Operations for RSN and PERC which are associated with the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Trish graduated from Linfield College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She has memberships in the American Healthcare Radiology Association and Radiology Business Managers Association.
Trish when not at work enjoys Water and Snow Skiing, ATV riding, and bowling with her family. Trish also enjoys sewing and poker which see competes in.
Keri Burwell serves as Radiology Administrative Assistant for RSN and PERC which are associated with the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Keri graduated from Linn Benton Community College with an Associate of Applied Science, Administrative Secretary.
Outside of work, Keri enjoys being with her husband and two kids. Her other interests are decorating the interior of her new house, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
Melinda Bliss attended Oregon Institute of Technology and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Vascular Ultrasound. She is a registered vascular technologist. Before coming to Portland Endovascular she completed her externship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
After work, Melinda and her husband enjoy being outdoors. They like to rock-climb, snowboard, hike and ride ATV’s at the coast.
